Upgrade your dome with a double pane glass window that provides clear views and optimal airflow. This window is equipped with a hydraulic arm to keep it open at your desired level and a standard locking latch for security. Custom velcro mosquito screens can also be requested.
Please note that our triangle windows are all one size and may not fully cover an existing window opening on your dome, unless it is one of our smaller sizes. For easier installation, we recommend installing the triangle window in a new location using the attachment struts provided. This will center the window in the opening. If you plan to install the glass window in an existing vent, we suggest placing it lower in the triangle and gluing the top flap down for convenience and weatherproofing. Detailed instructions are provided for your reference.
 
Currently, the window is available in 2-packs unless ordered with a custom dome and packed at the factory. Unfortunately, we are unable to separate and repack the 2-packs for individual shipping.
 
The kit includes the following components:

Thick triangle mounting bracket
3 attachment bars specific to your dome's size
Thin metal finishing strips
Packet of self-tapping metal screws
Tube of Weathermaster sealant for waterproofing
 
The outer perimeter of the window measures 43x42x43 inches, while the inner perimeter measures 35x34x35 inches.
 
Window Placement: Our triangle windows are designed for downward-facing 3-2-3 triangles in 3V domes, as shown in the 3V dome layout diagram. If you plan to install a loft, consider the window placement accordingly. These glass windows are also suitable for 4V domes but may require custom bracket struts to accommodate the larger triangles involved.
 
You have the option to replace an existing triangle window or create a new window by cutting through your dome cover/bubble liner insulation layer. To achieve a clean finish, stainless steel trim strips are included in the kit. These can be painted to your desired shade and secured to the interior triangle bracket, with your Oxford liner tucked underneath.
 
If you are ordering a custom dome, specifying the window location in advance is recommended. This ensures a seamless integration and saves installation time. When placing the window over an existing triangle window, you won't need to remove the velcro window flap strips during installation. The dome will be manufactured with one triangle window left open, slightly smaller than a standard velcro vent. If you plan to install the glass window over an existing window on a 4-Season Glamping Package Dome or a dome you already own, removing the velcro is unavoidable but not overly problematic.
 
In some cases, the glass window may be smaller than the existing vent. To address this, you can glue down the flap at the top of the vent to reach the window or request additional cover vinyl from us as needed. The glass window includes a heavy-duty vinyl sealant for this purpose. If you intend to create an additional window in a new location, the cover can be cut to the size of the window during installation.
